~海の中の不思議な世界~
Once upon a time, there was a kind young fisherman named Urashima Taro.
Every day, he went fishing by the sea. He was very kind to all sea creatures.
One day, he saw some children on the beach. They were being mean to a turtle.
Good choice! Taro went to the children and said, "Please don't hurt the turtle. It's a living creature."
The children stopped and ran away. The turtle was safe now.
What should Taro do next?
Perfect! Taro gently carried the turtle to the water and released it.
The turtle swam happily in the sea. Then it came back to Taro.
"Thank you for saving me," said the turtle. "I want to repay your kindness."
Great choice! The turtle said, "Please come with me to the Dragon Palace under the sea."
"The Dragon King wants to thank you. It will be a wonderful adventure!"
What should Taro do?
Wonderful! Taro climbed onto the turtle's back. They went deep into the sea.
Amazingly, Taro could breathe underwater! Soon they reached a beautiful palace.
The Dragon King and Princess welcomed Taro warmly.
Excellent! Taro lived happily in the Dragon Palace for what felt like three days.
He enjoyed delicious food, beautiful music, and the Princess's company.
But then he started to feel homesick. What should he do?
Wise choice! The Princess understood Taro's feelings. "You may return home," she said.
She gave him a beautiful box called Tamatebako.
"But promise me, never open this box," she said seriously.
Good promise! Taro returned to his village, but everything had changed!
His house was gone, and nobody knew him. 300 years had passed!
Feeling lonely and confused, Taro looked at the beautiful box.
Taro kept his promise to the Princess. He never opened the Tamatebako.
Because of his kindness and trustworthiness, the Princess appeared before him.
"You are truly a good man," she said. "Come back to the Dragon Palace and live happily with me forever."
You completed Urashima Taro's adventure with the good ending!
Taro opened the Tamatebako. White smoke came out of the box.
Suddenly, Taro became a very old man! The box contained all the years he had spent in the Dragon Palace.
He realized too late that he should have kept his promise to the Princess.
Remember: Always keep your promises!
